Time Stands Still has been running on a loop in my mind for a few days since I first heard it. I really like the whole album. Addendum: I've been listening to this album for a couple of months now. I'm almost 70 years old, and have been listening to progressive rock music for more than 50 years. This is one of my all-time favorite albums.

Talented songwriter firing on all cylinders. Beautifully constructed album. Exciting narrative songs. Gives me that same melancholy feeling that Alice in Chains and Opeth manage but no one seems to be able to convey.

What can I say? Slatter has only gone and done a cover of the song that Tenacious D must have played to the devil, because frankly Wizards of this Town is the greatest song in the World, ever. No idea why I like it so much as it has random bits stuck together in a sub-prog style, but it just works. The rest of it is actually pretty reasonable as well, but you might not notice for a while as you'll have WIZARDS!!!! on repeat for a few hours before passing on to the next track.

I didn't think I would like this record but it's so infectious in its ability to change from prog to post rock then to psychedelic and onwards into alternative metal. Such an amazing feat to introduce the saxophone and it sounds so cool, this record is outstanding.
